Brands Management

AE tracks key behaviors that your members exhibit against brands that you’ve added to your dashboard. Brands can include a property that you own (your business) or a property that belongs to a competitor. Read more about brands here.

Add a Brand

1. Navigate to the Brands page of your AE dashboard by selecting Brands in the top menu or quick links section.
   
   
2. Click on Add a new brand.
   
   
3. Enter the details of the brand you'd like to add.
   
   
4. Fill in as many of the brand's social channels you can.
   
   

   Note: AE will only listen to the channels enabled in your AE Connect settings.

   
   

   Important: Do not include the hashtag in the "Primary hashtag" field.

   
   
5. Scroll down and hit the Create brand button to save the brand.

Best Practices for Adding Brands

Here are our recommendations for getting the most out of every brand you add to the AE dashboard:

• Add as much detail as you can for each brand. The more detail you input for a brand, the more AE can track and the better your data insights will be.
• Double-check that all the information you’ve added is correct. Accuracy is important so that AE can track the correct brands.
• Create brands for properties that you do not own. Create brands for your competitors, potential sponsors, partners or any other key brands that interest your business.

Update a Brand

1. Navigate to the Brands page of your AE dashboard by selecting Brands in the top menu or quick links section.
   
   
2. Click the Manage button of the brand you want to update.
   
   
3. After making the changes to the brand, scroll down and click the Save changes button.
   
   

Delete a Brand

1. Navigate to the Brands page of your AE dashboard by selecting Brands in the top menu or quick links section.
   
   
2. Click the Manage button of the brand you want to delete.
   
   
3. Scroll down and click the Delete button.
4. Confirm you want to delete the brand in the pop-up window by clicking the Delete button.

Export a Brand's Details

1. Navigate to the Brands page of your AE dashboard by selecting Brands in the top menu or quick links section.
   
   
   
2. Click the Manage button of the brand you want to export.
   
   
   
3. Scroll down and click the Export “Brand’s” details button.
